Semester Two, Assignment One
Five Hats
Let's see if you're any better at writing fluff than you were at the semester's start. Answer the following questions on a papyrus strip:
1) Explain the meaning, with regard to the aforementioned instructions, pertaining to the next two questions asked, but without concern for any implication or otherwise expressed clause that serves to confuse you further, whether light is a wave or particle, or whether the universe is expanding at an increasing rate or a decreasing rate, whichever is more difficult. Support your answer with random quotes from the Simpsons.
2) Tom has 5 cents more than Jerry, Betty has 8 cents more than Timothy, Joe has half of Jerry's cents plus the square of Betty's cents, and Timothy is actually Bill Gates in disguise. If this question were any more confusing or irrelevant, would people still try to answer it? Explain.
3) Draw at least five similarities between Charles Dicken's Great Expectations and the fifth episode of Spongebob Squarepants.
Remember that all your answers must be written in Pig Latin, triple-spaced. Also, you must work the phrase "nostalgic platypus" into every sentence. When you have completed this task, burn the papyrus strip and fax the ashes to me.
